Trip to Coronada Island California

I loved the pier, families of all ages fish there and wait for the farey to come in braining loved ones and friends.



Hotel Del Coronado. This Victorian style seaside hotel was established in 1888, and was easily one of the biggest and best hotels of that era and is still today. For those who appreciate historical treasures and would like a taste of what it may have been like to live in another era, visit the Hotel Coronado for an ideal getaway for couples and families.

Coronado, which means "crowned one" in Spanish, is a small residential island and tourist destination off the coast of San Diego. Bordered by the Pacific Ocean, San Diego Bay and Loretta Bay, a laid back atmosphere and spectacular environmental setting have helped Coronado maintain a role as a resort getaway since the late 19th century. The island is easily accessible by ferry or car is great for a day trip or



We had dinner out on the patio of a nice Little Italian restaurant. 

We spent some time at the marketplace. There you can rent a bike, pick up local maps or buy tourist items. Swim or go surfing on one of the beaches. I liked this totally sustainable "Green" bike.
