Paint, and the many shades of white

As many of you already know I am married to an handsome Architect. (He's on the far right, that's Oly our Bernese Mountain dog in the middle.)  Yes, at times I feel he just can not possibly understand why I want to repaint the back guest room and the current paint still looks in perfect condition.  He can not see why I spend hours pouring over pintrest posts of lively painted rooms.  In fact in his world he see's color differently than I do.  Here is a link to an Architect's guide to color:
