Welcome Spring!

When people ask me what is my favorite holiday…well I always tell them “it’s the next one.” You see I like to decorate for EVERY holiday...  I am inspired by the different seasons and try to arrange my decorations in different ways every year.

This last week, while on the road for work, I discovered this wonderful Easter display at one of my favorite spots, the Apple Farm in San Luis Obispo (http://www.applefarm.com/).  I love the large bunnies, pastel eggs and special Easter Trees.
New to me are “hydrangea” bunnies, lambs and yes, even dogs (see green and white dogs below).  They are lightweight, beautiful and a fun addition to my outdoor spring decor.

As for indoor projects, I look forward to using these adorable pastel eggs (http://www.joann.com/).  I am thinking of stringing five feet to display on my hutch. This beautiful spring arrangement will be made and displayed for my Easter table this year.  So simple and elegant.

On my trip, I also saw this fun garland in a shop window.  I loved the cotton ball tail and cute ribbon at the neck.  So simple too, just cut bunnies out of a nice heavy pastel colored paper and string them on ribbon.  What a fabulous project to do with young kids.  I can't wait to share this idea with my girls and grand kids.

Well, spring has arrived and it’s time to get out my bunnies, eggs and greenery to decorate my home.  I love the soft colors of springs and look forward to decorating for Easter.  Check out my Easter pins on  Pinterest to see a few more inspirational ideas (http://pinterest.com/jonelle3/).

Hope your spring is wonderful and your feeling inspired too.
