Feel like a marshmallow on the Road?

Why not enjoy some exercise with a Twist?

Don’t lose your exercise momentum. Most hotels have some kind of workout space, weight room, walking trail or pool, and if not, then make your own gym. Why not take a few flights of stairs? (Just make sure you don't get locked in a stairwell!) or take a walk around the neighborhood. I use the room’s large bath towel instead of my mat for daily stretching. On TV in your room many times there is an exercise channel or tune into the music channel and dance. Another great tip I learned was to take a jump rope. (Two five minute sessions makes it great exercise and easy to pack.)

When traveling one tends to burn more calories naturally, but we also eat more and more often. You’ll probably be burning lots of calories especially if you walk to the convention center, nearby store or restaurant. I try not to break my routine too much; if you do, it will be harder to get back into it once you're home again.
If you’re not happy with the hotels offerings for exercise, ask your hotel concierge for local gym referrals; sometimes you can get a free guest pass.

So what are your favorite Travel exercises?
