My niece Julie and I spent the day Saturday in the quaint town of
Grass Valley, California. There was plenty of inspiration as many of the
shops were decorated for Valentines Day. We picked a few projects and
headed home with great ideas to replicate. Here we are sipping drinks
(hot English Tea for me!) and eating Cornish Pasties at the Cousin
Jack's Cornish Pasties.

A great place for some traditional TEA! Grass Valley California

First thing we did was gather branches around the yard. Find a vase (this glass one comes in handy all the time!) Some greenery for the bottom of the vase, pine cones to hold the branches straight, and some Spanish moss to accent the greenery.
Then we collected heart shaped ornaments, you will recognize many of these as I made them last year and blogged about them. I found some glitter words last year at Joanne's after Valentines Day sale for 90% off! A real deal. Julie came up with a cool idea to put a small amount of pink tinsel on a few branches - Loved it!

Hey Jonelle: You didn't tell me you have a blog! How fun is that! It is cute and I am jealous as to how "computer savvy" you are to be able to put frames around your pics. Love the vase and branches...the height is great in your room. Visit me at: http://theoldefarmhouse.blogspot.com and leave me a comment. Looking forward to March 8 at my house. {{HUGS}} Joy
