Swap Clothing: Be Green

DIVA Swap Meet!

Have you been thinking about cleaning out your closet? I had and packed all my clothes up in a box. I had heard about the clothing swaps through the meet up web site and decided to join and see what it was about. I attended my first swap with my daughter Makay. We enjoyed the all girl evening getaway and found it to be so freeing to get rid of the clothes you are tired of, yet are still in good condition. Some items I gave away were shoes that did not fit, skirts that were now too short, a top in a color I just can't wear, and a belt that is well, just too small.

These swaps are organized by Suzanne Agasi Production
Unclaimed items donated directly to:St. John's Shelter

Private dressing areas were available.
Fashionistas, divas and stylish, savvy, resourceful women of ALL ages, styles and sizes encouraged to attend.

The clothing swap advertised for people to bring NEW, clean and/or gently used wardrobe items that they no longer wear or need. Freshly laundered. No rips or stains. They were asked to only bring items that are nice enough to lend to a friend.

All styles: Classic, Trendy, Vintage. Sporty and more.
All sizes: Petite to plus sizes (and maternity)
All items in your closet: Not just clothing! Don't forget those shoes, scarves, hats, jewelry & accessories that you no longer wear.

I thought this was a great way to improve your own wardrobe as well as to help a less fortunate woman boost her confidence and/or land a job!
