The Art of Tea - Inspiration and Ideas I've Collected

I had tea while on the road last week and it so inspired me to want to host a tea at my house this summer. I am gathering some ideas of themes and a craft project we can make together...

Decorate a Teapot
Party guests may bring their own teapot for decorating -- white or light colored. These can be found at thrift stores or even in your cupboard. You could also consider purchasing small white teacups from a craft store, kitchen store or discount outlet. Offer ceramics paints and paint brushes for the guests to add their artistic touches. If you choose this craft activity, have the guests paint their teacups at the beginning of the party to allow for drying time before taking them home. Bring a fun Tea Party Hat to show off at the party. Everyone enjoys dressing up, and a tea party is a fun occasion to do such. Ask your favorite aunt or grandma for a fun vintage hat -- the vintage ones are always the best!

As a favor bag, fill each bag with an assortment of herbal or fruit tea bags, including raspberry tea, peppermint tea, passion fruit tea, chai tea, and perhaps even chocolate flavored tea.

Below are a few fun ideas for using tea accessories for decorating!

Spring is here and I have found lots of inspiration to creating special tea excitment
